Which Pump

Basically I wanna know what is the best pump out there at the more.. Maybe a top 3 even.

I'm just toying with the idea of watercooling at the mo and putting things together in my head.

Rad would be the PA120.3 along with a double 5 1/2 bay res and a Fuzion but now just wanna get some advise on a pump.

I've got an pretty good idea as in Laing D5 or DDC1T Ultra.

Which of these?

DDC Ultra (ie: 18w Laing DDC with an aftermarket plexitop) generally outperforms everything else. It generally gives slightly higher flowrate than the D5, but at a higher pressure, so can overcome more resistance to flow. It also has a lower power consumption so dumps less heat into the system. Has an RPM output to hook to a fan header for monitoring - D5 doesn't have this. And it's small and easy to locate (unlike the D5). DDC aftermarket top allows fitment of any G1/4" fitting. D5 is limited to 1/2" ID only.

Those are all the DDC's pros vs the D5.

Cons - DDC had a slightly higher failure rate, altho this has been corrected in the latest revision (3.2).

Just wondering about Thermochill radiators. Are they really worth all that much extra money over top of many other brands? Most 120x3s from other companies are between $60 and $80. But Thermochills are $130+. Are they just overpriced, or actually that much better? I've heard Swiftech makes nice radiators, and at half the price.

They're overpriced outside the UK basically due to exchange rates. Within the UK, the difference is nowhere near as great in terms of price, but that's cos the radiators are made entirely in the UK. The performance increase is much easier to justify in the UK market (which is where they are intended for, but we can't stop international users buying them and wouldn't want to) for the additional price...
