Which power supply?

Hey Guys,

I need some help making my final decision on the power supply i'm going to upgrade to. I currently have a Corsair GS700 which is not modular and i'm looking at upgrading for the future as well as to get rid of some unwanted wires. So i've narrowed it down to either the "Corsair CMPSU-850AXUK Professional Series Gold 850W Power Supply" or the "XFX ProSeries 1050W Power Supply Unit with SolidLink Full Modular 80+ Gold (Black Edition)". any help would be greatly appreciated

Both are solid PSUs, and I think both use a Seasonic OEM. (I know the Corsair is, and I believe that XFX PSUs are as well). I'd probably go for the Corsair though to be honest, unless you particularly need the extra 200W the XFX offers (or may do in future).

Thanks for the replies guys

I'm probably going to need the extra watts due to additions to my w/c as well as the addition of a gpu so the corsair might be a little short and i'm not paying for a AX1200 because it is a little bit more than i'd like to spend. Don't get me wrong, i am a huge Corsair fan having gone through all their Hyro coolers, currently using the dominator memory with airflow pro and all my components securely in the Obsidian 650d, also the gs700 is a great power supply and has never let me down and i love that it has a light which makes it look the nutz... just so many cables

the XFX comes with a standard 2 year warranty but, if you register on the xfx website it is upgraded to 5 years.
