Which one should I keep?

Well yeah I was joking but my opinion of Corsair cases is pretty low.

That's only because I've only ever used premium cases, most of which are built better than Corsair ones.
What do you consider to be a premium case? For me it's anything over £100 and has rad and cable management, for which Corsair have them in droves.

Which cases have you used and use now then?...

^ +1 on this and like I mentioned as a response on your post above.

Right now I am using a Cosmos 2. It has a ton of plastic on it but it's heavy and it's solid.

At the time I bought it I was strongly considering the 900D yet I have heard people say that it vibrates and can be noisy. That's the last thing I wanted, or needed, with the hardware I have.

Most recently over the past few years I always used Alienware chassis. From the Predator 2.1 (the chrome ALX version) to the Dellienware Area 51 ALX and the Aurora. Whilst they don't look too appealing inside they are built like a shit house, usually at least double or triple skinned walls.

I bought a 250D and if you remove the top and the two side panels the whole thing contorts if you put any pressure on it. That coupled with the lousy clips that keep on bending on the top and the large footprint for what is an ITX case really put me off. Nothing aligned very well and the front panel is plastic with a tiny sliver of aluminium on it, totally not what I was expecting.

Corsair are the Beats of PC gear. Anything they make is lauded, yet, what you actually get is cheap crap in disguise of something far more expensive. They look nice when sitting still but once you get hands on you realise it's all a smoke screen.

Over the past couple of years I have bought numerous items made by Corsair and they have all left a bloody lot to be desired. Two Raptor mice at £18 a pop, one lasted a week the other two months (scroll wheel stopped working on one and the cable came out of the USB plug on the other) and it just goes on. Their AF fans are flimsy and cheap and two of the six I had in my PC started farting on bad bearings six months in.

I just don't rate Corsair stuff at all. Sure their ram is legendary and they give cracking warranties on that but the rest of their stuff, to me at least, is just cheap crap in disguise that looks nice.

I'm not going to diss their very high end keyboards because they are just what you would expect. But, you pay a high price for them.

Dell cases are the bomb and built like tanks :D I have 2 Inspirons here which are just begging for some dremel treatment. I do however know that HP fabricate some of the cases for Dell in house, and the Alienware cases were chiefly made by Chieftec.

As for Corsair I have no issues what so ever with their cases, the 450D I have is rock solid, the only gripe I have is with the wide open filter mesh that lets crap in. I do like the CM Cosmos II, but there is just to much plastic in what I really expect to be metal for the price.

i would keep which ever one is the biggest and has the most space above and below the mother board.
I hate my haf 922 case. and the only reason i hate it instead of loving it is because it has about 1/2 an inch less space between the top of the case and the mother board compared to what i actually wanted. (foprcing me to have only 2x 12mm thick scythe fans on my 240 rad at the top in pull, instead of 4x noctuas in push pull.
(i could have sworn it was big enough from all the reviews!)
But it makes me wish i had bought the 932 every time i look inside it. "damn that clear side window"

P.s

Wtf is that Thermaltake level 10 case even supposed to be!

Can't you see it dude?... they tried to make a safe into a computer case, and tried to make it look cool. And cause they think they succeeded, they put that £969 price tag on it, as it keeps your components safe inside... from robbers at a lan party or from your pets at home *cough*...

Can't you see the similarities? :p...

AKA A horrible eye sore

Mine is even logical, a safe... the fucks yours dude?...

I know it's a building, with shitloads of apartments... but still... doesn't look like it

Looks like those long neck dinasours... but in lego.
the upper left corner, the white part that sticks out, kinda looks like a mouth and the top brown thingy, look like it's head. Then the loooooong fecking bar down, is it's neck and the rest off to the right is it's body

That, mate, is what us Brits call hell.

just before we do..
i would like to add that they are more like a really bad crime infested ghetto that is verticall.

Yeah they're not nice places to live. I lived about a mile from Angel Hill in Brixton during the 80s and 90s and trust me, it wasn't a place you would want to visit. Tons of shootings, stabbings and a policeman was beheaded there in the riots. PC Blakelock IIRC. Some nut case with a Samurai sword literally cut his head clean off.

They've knocked Angel Hill down now but the area is just as bad. Still stupid teenagers stabbing and killing one another. No hope really in areas like that.

If you're into your books give this a read over.

I knew quite a few of the people in that book. Not a nice place to be. That's why I first buggered off to the USA, then moved down to the sea side.

Apologies for going off topic but I figured this thread was done any way and had reached a conclusion before I started waffling.
