Which mouse pad?

Well I just got the G5 and need a mouse pad. The space that i will be putting the mouse pad on is 11"-11" so i want something that will fit that area the best. If possible i want a wrist rest also because my setup can tend to hurt my wrist. So what pad and wrist rest would recommend? I was looking at the Razor eXactMat and eXactRest bundle. Is that a good pad for the G5?

I wouldn't bother with a wrist wrest, your problems are more than likely due to the height of your chair. Its better in the long term to sort that out.

As for the exactmat, i have used that with a diamondback and that was like soap on tiles, next to zero friction, which i personally didnt like.

I have a QPad XXXL and can say I love it :)

It's massive! :) + it's comfortable + it's non-slip + it can be cleaned easy

I think a pad similar would be the everglide titan :) I know some people who use this mat and really like it and it also is plain and black.

Previously I had a Steelpad 4S which wore down after 6months :( also used up 5 sets of teflon feet on my MX-500.

I decided to go for a padded, softer mat as the steelpad was really unconfortable and was costing me too much with teflon strips for my mouse.

With which pads do you have to put the seet on the bottom of your mouse?

Hard mousemats normally, altho most of them come with teflon strips.

Pads like Icemat, Steelpad etc

I have the G5 are the pads on it considered hard? Also what mat would you all get of you had the G5 and a 11"-11" area to place that mat?

I think a mousemat is like a mouse, it's down to personal preference :)

If you can, tryout a few mats in a shop or something. Some people like really slick mats with no friction, but others like to have at least a bit of friction.

My personal favorite and current mousepad is a new brand called "Desk" and it's rather revolutionary. They make it out of all types of materal, mine is the "Counter Top" one but you can also buy "Wood Finish", "Smooth Plastic", "Paper", and "Rough Plastic"

Mike where did you get that at? Is it like moving your mouse on butter?

Yea, it's really awesome. I hear they are working on "Glass" which is supposed to have next to no friction with teflon feet, we'll have to wait and see.

If you like a bit of friction then I really like my Steelpad 5L. Its pretty huge, and gives a decent amount of control.

Acutally guys im going to go with the Razer eXactMat and eXactRest combo. It seems like a good pad, it comes with a wrist rest(the way my desk is my wrist kills from how it sits), and it is the right size for my desk.

Has anybody used the G5 with the Razer eXactMat or has anyone seen any reviews of the eXactMat with the G5? If you have could you send me the link or tell me how it performed on the eXactMat. Slide like butter? Lots of friction? Good combo?
