Guys,

Nearing the end of my hol. Thus I want to order the following so that they are there when I get home.

DVD DRIVE - Considering LiteOn LH-20A1H (Lightscribe) 20x CD/DVD Writer for ~£20

KEYBOARD/MOUSE - Any Ideas? Just a cheap, preferably wireless comfortable etc

SCREEN - A thin one(TFT I think), cheap (<£50) 17" plus

Any opinions/suggestions would be sweet. The set of 3 cannot exceed £100...

Thanks

Depends what you want to do with the DVD, if you want a "3 sheep" burner check out the reviews here:

This site also has pretty in depth reviews:

(if you want to know what a 3 sheep burner is, search the site/google for it)

You seriously don't understand that TFT monitors arent THAT cheap. You overbudgeted by miles and the only way to get 17" or 19" is via CRT. I've been checking certain websites for cheap tfts but they don't go under £60.

You need to look HERE

Spend a while trying to find out what a 3 sheep burner is. Found a pretty rubbih explanation, something to do with sectors. Essentially is that choice of DVD drive a good choice, is it 3 sheep?

Screen, I bet I can get a tft for £50.

Any other uggetions

You seem more bothered about the DVD burner, these are only like £10-£20. Any old jobby will do. It's odd how you don't seem too bothered by the monitor which is what your whole expensive PC will be running through. You simply not going to do it justice with a sub £50 monitor :rollingla

If I was in your position, I'd probs get Keyboard + Mouse bundle, with this DVD burner which gives you ~£70 to play about with for a monitor.

You could even stretch a bit and get a 19" widescreen!
