Which CPU?

Ok im aquiring 2 new CPUs and a motherboard. Im wondering which will be better an OCed e2200 or OCed e6300. It will be on an XFX 630i board and using my Patriot Extreme Performance DDR2 800 which ive gotten up to 1000 before.

I know the e2200 can reach 3.45 on air with 1.49v but idk how high the e6300 cn do. So which do you guys think will be better at OCed speeds?

tbh on that mobo id go with E2200 just because its got higher multi, which means that you wont have to have high FSB which 630i dont like, and E6300 would definitely need. lets say your mobo can reach 375Mhz fsb. which would mean that you could only get 2.6ghz out of E6300 and maybe 3.4ghz out of E2200, so erm yeah the choise is yours

Good point, and the extra 800mhz is enough to cover for the loss of cache and FSB the e6300 has. Thats of course if i could get them that high on air.

Well you should be able to reach 3.5Ghz on the E6300 so i reckon they are both pretty good. I dont Think theres much difference between them tbh.

Maybe not stock cooling, but you could get a pretty good clock!
