Which cpu and mobo?

As you all know I'm selling my 4000+ Sandy and 9NPA+ Ultra to give it another shot lol

Anyhow here are my current choices:

3700+ (or 4k+) Sandy & DFI SLI-DR (w/o all the shit)

3700+ (or 4k+) Sandy & DFI Ultra-D

3700+ (or 4k+) Sandy & EPoX 9NPA+ SLi

What to do what to do?

But you are both misunderstanding me with the whole D/DR thing

They have 2 versions of the SLI-DR, the one with all the extra crap, and the one w/o all the extra crap. I like the DR boards because they have the 8 SATA ports etc....

I'm still not a huge fan of it but I figure down the road instead of spending $600-700 on a new gen gfx card I can pop in another 6800GT for a couple bills and be back in the game.

I agree with ya Fraggles, thats what i went for myself too. I figure I could slip another 6800GT in in a few months....

the ultra D isnt officially an SLI board.

frag if u got the dosh then go SLI-D and 4000+

but i think u cd prob get a 3700+ to pretty much the same speed and then u cd get the DR.

I think I'm definately settled on another 4000+, in my eyes I just cant take a step back since I'm already full bore. Doesnt make any sense.... Mobo, I'm thinking SLI-D or SLI-DR, I guess it will all depend on how much each cost at time of purchase. I'll have at least $475 from my proccy and mobo which is almost enough to cover the new 4000+ Sandy and then I'll out of pocket for the mobo.
