Which chip for which PC

Hi,

Im in the process of making a HTPC and a Server and i have to chips avalible to me right now. one is a Celeron 336 and the other is a P4 2.8 HT chip and i was wondering which you would in each of the PC..?

Im thinking 2.8 in HTPC and the celeron in the server..?

It will just be a storage server.

Agree too although I am not sure how well the 2.8 will cope with FFDShow and say VMR9 processing which is really cpu intensive

If it's HT then it'l cope MUCH better than a smelleron will that's for sure.
