Which Case Would You Choose

the corsair c70 is not a bad case at all i change the side panel because i thought it looked ugly, but other than that its a good case for ventilation can fit a h100i or even the h110 just if you have tall ram its a snug fit.
Im sure you could pick up a c70 for cheap. i payed £80 for mine so im sure thats in budget for you after the amount of tax we brits have to pay on everything ...
but i divulge, good case, missle flip switch for the reset button, comes with 3 fans and if only using 3 hdds you can remove the middle stack for hdd's and have air ramed down your GPU for better air flow. this easily took mt E-atx mobo so should fit what ever your after. :)
hope i helpped too

Actually, it's very helpful. Quite frankly my next 2 choices are the C70 or 500R. Both the same price. I'm just trying to avoid sending that much on a case but I might have to just bit the bullet for the quality. It will just be difficult to fit it into my budget but hopefully I can manage it somehow.

I've also been looking rather seriously into the Antec P280 Super Mid tower. It would be $10-$20 cheaper, decent airflow, very quiet, and more than enough room to upgrade in.

there is a cat on eBayUS (based out of Texas) selling returned Arc MIdi for $29.99 plus shipping.
a friend ordered one and it was pristine, functional and complete. seller also has Arc Mini as well...
they seem to be newegg returns

Did it have fans? I saw that exact same posting but the Screenshots didn't have fans. Made me kind of skeptical.

Even if it did not have the fans you could still buy 3 of them and spend way less than a brand new one. Plus could order a window side panel as well?:)

I saw the side-panel window also. I would certainly get something like that except I absolutely hate that window layout. I'll be doing some custom mods over time when I can afford it.

Also, My sister FINALLY got her DDD for her refund this coming up Monday. So, hopefully, I'll get mine shortly here soon. Fingers crossed!

The tempest 410 is the one i regret not getting instead of the zalman. I guess you could say the zalman's temperature display 'tempted' me? If i wwere you i'd save a tad more money for something like a last gen phantom. Ugly but a beauty in it's own right, and gives you the flexibility of radiators, not just one, but two :)

New Case

O.k. What I've read is a budget case, first off mate:

* Worst case scenario and best case on pricing for just the case.
* Is this to take to mass LAN events or just a desktop model
p.c.
* What do you plan to put inside.
* Will this require a window or will you want one modded.
* Will this be a gaming p.c. you plan to overclock (no expert myself but helps to know about airflow).
* Do you want it silent and no control over airflow.
* Will this power multiple Screens?

These are the standards I go by, no matter what, lots of questions I know but picking the best case you can afford sets the standard for all the rest of the components, peripherals etc...?

Have you decided on your case yet?:)

Not yet, but I'm leaning towards the Fractal Design Arc Midi from Ebay. Unless I can find another deal thats just too good to pass up, but the Arc Midi for $45 isn't bad at all.

Basically, it's just for a home gaming/folding system. I will be using 2 monitors, 25" HDMI main display and a 19" display for watching media and what not. I don't really care if its a little noisy and I will be OCing.

Like I said I'm no expert in OCing but taken a shine now to watercooling and future-proofing, this I would use as a complete watercooled RAID 5 rig or server so I could create a portfolio website with not many issues.

Down to brass taxes, 2 screens so a good GPU I assume met with a motherboard and processor to boot (not boot up), your thoughts on RAM, SSD or HDD then storage capacity-wise, aswel as a soundcard if the m/b doesn't have one good enough. Scan sell them aswel as other ebay sites and seems to me with the CAD type measurements and engineering through stock or optional fans this could be fully adaptable to maximize the inside space.
I say get it if you want it.

I've settled on a GPU atleast, Powercolor AX7950. Not going with an SSD to start. Haven't settled on RAM or Mobo just yet but will more than likely be an MSI Z77A-G45 or GD55 with 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600. i5-3570k with H100i & MX4 TIM is almost certain. Corsair HX650 for PSU is what I'm thinking for now.
