Which AMD R9 390 Should I Get

As much as I hate Sapphires warranty service, they do make some really nice cards. Had probably 5 or 6 Sapphire tri-x 290x cards an never had any problems, still have 2 of them to this day and they are still flawless.

Besides what you should be worrying about is the 180 day "warranty/cooling off" PayPal forces you to offer with any sale. Though hopefully the buyer is a decent bloke. I do as much as I can for my buyers on eBay, however it seems a few just dont care to show even the slightest bit of gratitude by leaving positive feedback.

You don't. It's super annoying but you aren't required too.

Yeah but it should just come down to common courtesy

Being an owner of Sapphire cards I can honestly say "yes they are that good" I just love my vapor X and i wouldn't part with it for the sexiest supermodel out there

Yeah, IMO they do look the best AMD reference card, To me the Nitro looks like the EVGA 700 series cards i know so people will disagree with that, I think it's the colour scheme.

I know that part is BS cause they can have the item for 150 days and then turn around and say "Oh i don't like this item anymore give me a refund" Not even stores in this country give people that time length I think Ikea gives you 90 days apart from like it's only like 7 maybe 14 days at the most, I just think it's a bit too much on the buyer side.

Most PC stores in AU will not even give you that, unless of course the return comes attached with a 10-25% "restocking" fee....

I thought their original length was long enough, clearly not...

I know dude it's complete BS with ebay & paypal there on the side of the buyers not the sellers TBH it should be in the middle but we all know it could never work like that.

All i can do now is just sit and wait until the buyer wants to leave feedback and that could take up to 90 days for them to do so, I'm not really happy atm.

Well the buyers are incentives for the sellers. I doubt I could come up with a better system TBH, unless I had an accurate crystal ball or the entire world became honest (even more unlikely than the crystal ball :D ).

Good luck, hopefully you didnt get a dud.

Yeah, I got the money like i said i just can't do anything with it and that is the most annoying part about it.

So now it has been over 2 weeks since the person has gotten the phone in the last week i have sent the buyer 2 messages about leaving feedback the messages wasn't rude or anything but they just don't want to leave feedback so i'm stuck i can't do anything i will have to put the GPU on hold for the time being.

Now i'm really getting pi** off about this.

Sorry why can't you use the money yet? Does paypal not release it until you get feedback?

I don't ebay a lot (clearly!) and haven't sold anything on it at all.

I can use the money, I normally wait until the buyer has left feedback cause then i know everything is all good.

There are sellers on ebay who will leave feedback straight away but normally stores.

Oh I get it. So you don't spend the cash on a new card only to have your sale reversed leaving you out of pocket.
Yep fair enough then that's gotta suck. :(

You get the money from the sale after paypal can confirm it was delivered by the the carrier. After that they give you the money(although they take a cut) within 10 days of confirmation. Also then at the end of the month Ebay fees apply so you have to pay that as well. So while you can spend the money after fees and everything, the buyer can always claim it stopped working and etc. and you lose your money. However you also have seller protection to prevent any fraudulent claims. So KoOS should be fine. I wouldn't worry about it to much. When I sell and ship on ebay, I take pictures of me dropping it off at the post and pictures of it working inside a PC that I keep and even sign a paper and leave it in the box confirming I wrote it and etc. That way I can't get screwed:)

Also if you list something and the listing says something along the lines of "This card is sold as is and is in working condition, if it gets damaged during shipping i am not responsible and by purchasing this listing you agree to these terms. No exceptions." You can also protect yourself a little bit.

I do have the tracking number also i state in the listing "The item is sold AS IS" but doesn't work i've had to refund money so it doesn't work cause ebay & paypal side with the buyer, So if your a private seller your completely screwed.

If you go through with what I do then you should always be fine. You do have protection as a seller. You aren't helpless

Doing those things will not amount to much if anything and will only make OP look like a fool. OP do not worry too much, even if PayPal sides with the buyer, all you need to do is contact the FOS and PayPal will reimburse you, worst case is that you will need to get a Stat Dec. Most cases you will not need it. Just don't do this too often.

Nah it's fine. Lots of fine print crap you gotta look through is all. It's a chore to sell. I might just start going to Amazon and selling. Save money on fees however don't know about reliability and all that other stuff

I have sold a ton of items on ebay in the last 10 years but never anything of this kinda price. The problem is too if i changed over to Gumtree even Gumtree is own bye ebay too.

I rarely ever leave feedback anymore, CBA I have 200+ 100%, the less time I spend on ebay itself the better, i've sold enough high value items to not be too bothered. Additionally if someone decided they were going to be shitty and reverse a transaction for no reason they could still do it after leaving feedback. It's not like 1 line of text is a legal binding contract to say you aren't a dick.

If you know the item was legit, and you know they received it safely then spend the money.
