Will be watercooling at a later date so need a reference designed one.

Check finally cleared in my bank so feel a very large urge to buy some parts now

The MSI one looks favourable to me, and it isnt exactly more expensive. I know I shouldnt pay more for the overclock, but it does have afterburner and voltage tweaks, so I may be able to get more out of it than other cards(?)

What do you guys reckon?

Will be watercooling in around a month, would you recommend any other card though?

I'd prefer to avoid anything with a short PCB because I dont think it will look the best when it's watercooled - ie 670.

Used for gaming - 1080p on one screen, no plans to upgrade to more, but I like the sound of an Overkill rig. Dont think you need anymore info?

Cheers

As they're all reference PCBs it does not matter which you get if you're going to watercool. As they're all closely priced i'd say go with the one with the better warranty...but there's no information about that on the links you showed me.

Oh, and;

Afterburner is free?

I know it's free and everything, but I'd get better support with MSI with afterburner on their card, I'm guessing

Also, it is pre-overclocked which says to me it'll be a little better overall maybe? Or are they all identical cards, other than the fan, which I will be taking off anyway?

Also, any idea about if the warranty is voided once removing the cooler with any of these?

Nah, the cards shall perform the same with Afterburner. And other than the factory overclock, they're all the same when you take the cooler off.

Can't say about the warranty, although i can't see a warranty at all!

Where does ebuyer store its warranty terms?

No idea. Everything gets a year with them, after that its up to the manufacturers. I'm only buying from them cause they seem cheaper than everywhere else. Aria lists the MSI one at £309 but says it has a 3 year warranty so i'd guess that was the same as ebuyer surely?

Yeah, just done a little research on it. Ebuyer gives everything a 1 year warranty in which you can return straight to them. After that, say the manufacturer has a longer warranty, you have to deal directly with the manufacturer.

Looks like i'm using ebuyer to buy my Sapphire 7950

GOOD or BAD? couldnt have missed out a more crucial word there!

Yeh, ebuyer have been good with turnover times with mine in the past, never over 5 days, but beware of a few things:

1) they make you confirm the return by calling a premium rate number. Not expensive, only like 10p per minute, but I dont think that's brilliant company policy.

2) if it's over 6 months, they dont have to give you a replacement item because you've had adequate use of it, they only legally have to give you a partial refund. This will only be about £10 less than you paid for it, but they are legally allowed to do that. Other companies are more likely to just send out a new one without looking for loopholes in the law in their favour. This caught me out with hard drives when I paid £45 quid for a 1TB one, broke after 7 months, returned it to get a partial refund of £33, and due to the Thai floods, The cheapest I could have replaced it for at the time was like £75. Completely put me off ebuyer for a few weeks, but to me they do just have the best choice and best prices i've seen
