where to buy cases from?

hi guys!

currently i have an aspire x cruiser case, it looks great but is a cheap build imo

i want to be going for something that is a better build, but also looks good, one with a side window.

i have been looking for some and i just cannot find anything that appeals to me

thermaltakes look ok, but it is finding stock

i am from the uk btw, surely there is a huge site that specialises in pc cases, so i can have a good look through them all

probably got a budget of £100, but could push it further if i really had to

can anyone suggest a place to buy and/or a suitable case

that has a good airflow design, good build quality, black with a side window

i don't need a huge case, looking at the Lian-Li , some of them are huge inside and have all different compartments, tbh that would be wasted on me, plus there very expensive

just something, that has a good build, good options for air flow, possibly air filters, removable hdd bay, drive rails , stuff like that, don't need a server case or a full tower really

cheers for any suggestions

Yes, there are 1 or 2. :)

Kustom PCs have a good selection of cases.

C&C ditto.

Specialtech ditto.

Aqua PCs have a good range of case modding options.

I've ordered stuff from all of them and they are pretty helpful and offer good service.

cheers for the replys

I'd get mine from SpecialTech mate, great service and free shipping to OC3D members :)

yeah, if they stock the one i want, i will get it from them, they have the TT Armor in stock, but it is the one without the 25cm side fan, i was thinking about getting the one with the 25cm side fan (is the side fan that important?)

Well the Armour has good flow anyway, and you really want to make the flow good from front to rear if poss. I've found sometimes a side fan can disrupt that "air tunnel"

Anyhoo, I'm sure if you ask them they could get the one in with the side fan :)

apparently the Akasa Eclipse 62 is a good case, especially for cooling

the only thing i notice lacking is the blow hole/fan in the top

Dunno really they're both pretty similar cases really. Hard to say but the TT looks slightly nicer.

Depends on personal preference

true

i think the antec is better for cooling which is a plus, but its very cramped and cable tidy could be an issue

the other one looks like it has more space , so cable tidy can be achieved

decisions, decisions

just need to make sure there cool enough, as thats the main reason i am changing cases now.. temps are not as they should be

but the lack of fan spots on the armor lets it down for me, no top fan and only 120mm at the fron and 120mm at the back, would this be effeciant for cooling

asus p5w

ati x1950

as my current case is not doing well enough
