Where do i stand now....

Ok changing cases last night to my old faithful antec so i can sell the cm110

rebuilt it etc

go to turn it on and nothing happens, except the green led fan of my psu lights up for a split secnod

then nothing

I remved all the stuff connected to my psu and jumped it and nothing, its dead, tied a different power lead too, and left it overnight and tryed this morning. must have shorted somewhere?

no idea if anything has died or not, thing is there was no noises, no smell of smoke/burns etc just a brief powering on my psu fan

i have a antec 430 here 20pin which im guna chuck in later when i can be assed to face it as it p***ed me right off yesterday so i just went out. should eb ok for running stock without the extra 4pins?

Thing is, i have braided it......will this affect my rma?

or am i guna have to unbraid it...nightmare lol

Sounds like a short or blown internal fuse if you can open it without removing the warranty stickers if it has any and check the internal fuse again if it has one but i would unbraide it for warranty too

so if i open her up can i repair it myself?

will it be a standard style fuse from a mains plug that i can simply swap out?

i dont want to open it up just to take a look if i cant do anything

what a crapper about the unbraiding lol
