I am about to start a new project with my Corsair 250D build and I decided to go for something unusual and now my friends are not sure if they should laugh or be worried about my sexual orientation ;)

The next computer will be a mix between black & purple. I just wanted to try something new besides all the typical red, blue or green setups and I think purple can look quite luxurious if it's placed well and not to much.

But now I want to know what color you used the most when you modded a computer? Typcial red?

There was a Prodigy build using purple and white some time ago (at least a year) which was pretty nicely done.
I really fancy yellow lately, but it's hard to use without making it look like a honeybee. What makes it even harder is the small variety of products actually using the color, i don't know why yellow is so unpopular with manufacturers.

That is exactly what I mean. It's not about the color itself, it's more about the "to much" factor. In your case this point is reached when it looks like a honeybee :D

I think yellow could look quite awesome and stand out from the crowd. The problem is that you won't get parts for it, or atleast not that easy as for red or blue.

Yellow you say

I like a nice clean white case these days, but I'm tempted to do a matt black stealth mod soon.

White cases look very nice from the outside and awful on the inside. The thing i value the most about the 760T is that they kept the motherboard tray black.

Yellow unfortunately doesn't have a whole lot of colors which go nicely with it, black works with everything but then you have a honeybee. Yellow and white might work out quite nicely though, i though about getting a white h440 to go with my MPOWER board, then add a swiftech h320 and akasa viper fans (the only yellow fans i know of). I don't know if it will be overloaded though, i prefer builds with 2 colors, this would have 4 colors. Black, white, yellow and the retarded blue LEDs MSi still haven't gotten rid of.

I like white cases but my feature colour has been red since my first rig Heaven & Hell so it really depends what you relate as my modding colour.

I have a plan for a gold and black build. Black coolant, arillic tubing, white lighting, that gold asus mobo' (for bling cred), gold comps.
I either like bright colors for modding or blaaaaaaaaack. Not a massive fan of the in between.
