then i can swap my p67 one

The z77 sabertooth is so damn sexy, i'll probably get one myself.

Hopefully it will be as as good of an OC board as the x58 sabertooth.

Great price compared to alot of the other z77 boards, they last forever, and you will get an erection everytime you look into your system

dam i dont know where to put section to put this in, but would z77 board would suit the fractal define r3 white. cheers

What do you mean by that mate:

1. Will it fit in your case?

Yes.

2. Will a Z77 board look good in your case?

Sure, depending on what you like

well my Z68x-UD4 has developed an issue with the onboard lan so instead of rma and be down I'm thinking new Z77 then rma and sell. looking them all over I cant decide. I like the Sabertooth and the GD65 hmmmmm decisions decisions

the black and blue on the GD 65 i think should look well in my r3 white. i was also thinking sabertooth but i think the msi would look better. seems to be a good board

If i needed a new one, I'd probably go for an Asus RoG branded. just to try it out as at this moment in time I'm sitting comfortably on my Gigabyte G1.Sniper 2 Z68

It will probably be Gigabyte; Maybe ASRock. certainly wont be MSI or ASUS (7 dead ASUS boards in 10 years!)

But what will be the deciding factor (since all Z77 mobos seem to come with MOTHERBOARD graphics ports -Not to be confused with the CPU integrated graphics) - is the motherboard on which I can completely and utterly disable all oboard graphics so that I lose no "appropriated" memory to the mobo graphics.

Last thing I want is to have 640mb appropriated for graphics when I have a PCIe x16 card installed.

Errrr... would anyone know which Gigabyte or ASrock cards don't use any system memory when onboard graphics is disabled.. those that will be available in Australia

thanks

Tanya

Think il either go for MSI GD65 or the ASRock Extreme6 or Extreme9, mainly because i want to move off Asus and try something new and the looks of the Asus motherboards are Fugly.

I chose the Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H, the main reason is because of the superb warranty Gigabyte have for people in the UK - 3 day turnaround.

Mine came with a free Antec Kuhler H20 620 Cooler. I haven't started the build yet, awaiting new SSD and GTX 680 when I get around to ordering the ones I want.

I tend to stay away from Asus due to the horrible RMA setup, they can take over 28 days which is unacceptable, shame really as they make superb motherboards.

I had a MSI Z68A-GD65 prior, it was an okay motherboard but lacked overclocking features like DVID/Offset and also one level of load-line calibration for Vdroop.

The MSI Z77A-GD65 does have more levels of load-line calibration I noticed 7 levels in a bios screenshot, but I think it still lacks offset.

A question for you, sir - did the '620 come in retail packaging? I was seriously considering that board and hoped to sell the cooler afterwards (more a fan of the NH-D14).

And it won't matter because the armour will protect the motherboard from jizz! /facepalm
