Hello guys. I'm buying a new budget PC and all those online PSU calculators are confusing me.
I'd like to know what wattage power supply unit should i buy for this rig:

Mobo: MSI N85M-G43
CPU: Intel Core i5-4570S
CPU cooler: Silentium Spartan LT HE922
GPU: R9 280 (the 3GB version)
HDD: Western Digital IntelliPower3 (1TB, 7200 rpm)
DDR3 RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical (2x4GB 1600MHz CL8)
Case: Zalman Z1 (2 fans, two USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 port)
Front bay card reader: Connect IT – CI182

The PSU
Thank you for the help.

550 to 650 will be fine, 750 or 850 if you want room for expansion. Ideally bronze as a min for efficiency imo.

A quick check shows you should be pulling no more than 400 watts ( l rounded up) so 550w will give headroom as long as it is a good PSU.

Seasonic, Superflower, EVGA are quality brands.

Hi Rastislav :)IMO the most important thing in your new build is the PSU as you well aware, I would save a few extra pennies and get a good solid PSU for EG:
Seasonic S12G-650 650W 80+ Gold Certified PSU with Jap Caps ;)

Isn't 650 W a bit too much? Will I ever make a use of it? I mean... I won't overclock my CPU nor my GPU, nor will I buy second GPU... However, I do plan on buying an 256 GB SSD in the future, but as far as I know, they don't need so much power.

Quality ~500w unit will do well, even if you overclock everything to kingdom come. If planning to crossfire, get a 650w+ :)

This is absolute heresy !

TTL did a video on how many watts you need, I would say go and watch that first :)

Do you consider CoolerMaster G450M a quality PSU?

Yes
Brands like Corsair, Superflower, EVGA, CoolerMaster, Seasonic, even Thermaltake are considered to be reliable brands
Edit: Some more that I remembered now
Antec, Bitfenix, Fractal Design, XFX, Be quiet

Agreed, but I would veto the CX series from Corsair and anything from thermaltake, I've heard far too many horror stories from those two

I would personally suggest something along the lines of This. Reasonably priced and not too tight wattage wise

Yes

*Some models.

Both Corsair and Coolermaster are guilty of selling crap PSUs in the past. Thermaltake's PSUs seem to be 90% junk as well.

From all the available choises in the 450W range, (talking model wise now and based off reviews) are the RM450 by Corsair
The G-450 by seasonic (although a bit too expensive)
The 450W Golden Ggreen hx by Superflower
