If you spent 10 years travelling in space, when you came back down everyone would of aged a lot more than you.

So if you're 20, and come down when you're 30, everyone will be 50 as time slows in space.

actually, in the last year or so, they have found out that the speed of light is not the fastest phenomenom in the universe

and with this now found, einstein's laws have to be re-written (or explain differently).

light in his equation: E = Mc[sup]2[/sup], is only a constant.

this was the most known 'accurate' constant know to man at the time of it's writing.

time's have changed.

light is the part of the radioactive-spectrum that is visible to the naked eye. other parts of the spectrum can be seen with the aid of man-made apparatus (etc). with this said, einstein could have also said the speed of gamma radiation is constant (in perfect conditions, as with light)

time: time is a GLOBAL human measurement for the length of a period between one instant and another.

now, knowing that there are faster things in the universe than visible radiation (light), time and 'the speed of light' [s-o-l] cannot be equal.

thus, if anything could travel faster than s-o-l, and s-o-l is equal to time, then that 'phenomenom' would be in multiple places at the same instant... which is theoretically impossible.

I suppose mine would be to travel through time - I could have a lot of fun with that...
