At the writing of this post I am doing research on possibly build my first gaming pc as the computer I am using seems to be unable to handle the mods I am using on Skyrim as well as unable to play other games at all. Well now that I think about it I have more than just the question I asked, however the first is as the tittle asks what power supply should I look for a rig with these specs.
Cougar Solution Black Steel Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - 1x120mm Cougar Turbine Hyper-Spin Bearing Fan, USB 3.0 port
Kingston HyperX Fury White 8GB Desktop Memory Module
AMD FX-8300 3.3GHz EIGHT-CORE CPU
MSI 970A-G46 ATX Motherboard
Thermaltake CL-P0503 CPU Cooler - 70mm Fan, Rifle Bearing
Sabrent 802.11n Wireless PCI Controller Card - 802.11n/g/b, 300Mbps, 40/64/128-bit WEP encryption
Asus GeForce® GTX 750 TI Graphics Card - OC Edition, 2 GB GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0 x16, 2 x DVI, D-Sub, HDMI - GTX750TI-OC-2GD5
I also going to use piece that I already have like a 500gb western digital hard drive and a dvd player and burner unit.
I also have some ram that I want to use but can't remember how much it is at the moment. In addition I might down grade the cpu and motherboard to save cash if I can, but as it stands what psu would work for this rig.
And on a separate topic if anyone reading this has any other advice about this rig and what I should do as this is my first from the ground build it would be appreciated.
Thank You to all that give me a response.
