What size barb fittings, without a clamp ?

I am going to change all my fittings next week, but have forgot what size barbs and hose to use, without the need for a clamp. Is it 7/16 barb with 1/2 hose ? I'm having a full on brain freeze today. Cheers guys. I think I've remembered it's the other way around, 7/16 hose and 1/2 barb ?

Yeah 7/16 hose with 1/2 fittings.

You may need to heat up the hose to get them on the barbs though as it's often pretty difficult depending on the tubes.

Cup of boiling water is always a good tool - as is a hair drier.
