What Refrigerant To Use?

I want to chnge the refrigerant in my Mach II, What should i use? and can i just take it to an HVAC specialist for the recharge? I think i have r134a in there now.

A stock MachII is charged with R134, yup. Its illegal to release refrigerants without control, and ideally ya need to be HVAC qualified. Most local HVACs can do it, but the folk I tried back in the day were....unhelpful..ie..no reply.

Cool i know a coulpe HVAC engineers ill ask them if they wanna do it. but what coolant is the best for me?

R402/R507 something along those lines. But you'd need to make sure the compressor was running cool at all times, by turning the fans up.

i have two mechatronics fans here that are the same size as the two used in my Mach II and there 106 cfm each ill just replace the stock fans with them

If ya talk to Phil he should be able to sort ya out...used to be listed in the shop under Prometeia..dunno where that bit went :?
