What powersuuply would be suitable for my computer specifications?

Hey guys! Just Wondering if anyone can suggest a decent powersupply which is worth the money and performs really well. One that would match and work well with my parts and all that.

Its just when i play counterstrike it just feels a bit choppy.. im not sure if its on LCD monitors but yeah...

your PSU looks descent, is it not good enough? corsair 620w would do great. you could overclock, CSS is quite cpu intensive....

You should have no chop at all in CSS with that setup, in fact you should be getting a steady 100+ fps from it I would reckon. Things I would try first would be to defrag your hard drives, and try turning on vsync in the game since you have an LCD monitor, that could fix the chop issue you speak of.

Is it choppy in all games or just online on CSS??

Type net_graph 3 into the console and keep an eye on the dialouge box in the bottom right. FPS should be 50+, Choke and loss as low as possible and ping less than 50...

If your not take a screenshoot with netgraph on, when it gets 'choppy'!

Imo that PSU should be fine, a 1000W PSU doesn't make ur PC faster

No need for a new PSU, 600watt is more than enough for that setup.

But choppiness in CSS is a confuzzel.
