What new Gpu

alryt guys its my bday and with the cash i am looking intoa new GPU.

the 2 i am looking at are the 6870 from AMD or the GTX560 (non ti) from nvidia

CUDA or physX dont realy bother me as i can use my 260 for them.

i game at 1920*1080 and will be using a 32'' to watch films n game every now and then.

Neither of them seems superior in game performance, they trade punches.

I like the Twin Fozr cooler better than the one on the 560, imo it looks alot better as well. Google says the 6870 might have more driver problems..

I guess I just made your choice even worse lol. I would go with the 560, I have had alot of driver problems with 5850, 5850 Crossfire and a friends 5770.. I guess it's gonna be a lot of the same on the 6xxx series cars. And I have heard the green team has better drivers

aria have a 6950 for £160 now which is similiar price to the 560 (just letting you know)

i would get the 6870

also i forgot to say ive had a 460 1gb and i could get another for 109 new.

I think I would look for a GTX 560 Ti or 6950 on discount/sale..

ruthless_villain mentioned the 6950 for 160£ on Aria.

Can't decide between the 560 or 6870 though, it's up to your personal preference I guess.
