Hi all,
Currently i am on pay as you go and pay £15 a month to get 500 texts, 500 mb internet, and blackberry services, my phone is a blackberry curve 8520 had it for a couple of years now and looking at going on contract to get a better phone and more for my money.

I still want to pay only £15 a month and iv'e been looking and that doesn't seem to be much of a problem, i just can't decide what phone to go for, i could get an Iphone 4 in my price and iv'e always wanted an Iphone but i just wondered what some of you would suggest and if it is worth getting an Iphone 4.

Thanks for reading,
Antony :)

iphone 4 is slow by todays standards, if you are not bothered about getting a premium phone how about something like the s3 mini? depending on your usage you may need top slightly increase your budget by a couple of £, also depending on pref network, best deal i found on this one is here

My vote goes for any android, I always pick my phones by how the development of custom ROM/kernels over at xda are.

First android was xperia x8 had a great team of devs
And then this phone (currently on now) htx one x.

And the s3 is a nice phone in terms of features but that plastic...

To me its like putting an i7 two 780's underwater in a shoe box.

HTC ONE is the rival of the GS4 if you want top notch tech... Never get Iphones.. it's like a console and as soon as it's released it will be outdated in tech.

I've recently had my wife's phone upgraded and she (me) pays £15 a month, and then I've capped it as its limit, so no nasty bills.

For my £15 she has:
HTC Desire C with:
'All you can eat Data'
2000mins on 3network - 3network
100mins on UK numbers
5000 txts

by no means is this an amazing phone, but on a strict £15.....its pretty good.

It regards to the iPhone 4 It was out of date before it was released.

That HTC one such a sexy looking phone!

Thanks for the suggestions guys i'm not to bothered about the Iphone 4 being out dated it would do everything i want it to, and i have been looking at the s3 mini it is definitely one to consider.

As for Android i have always loved it so wouldn't be bothered about having a Android phone.

The nexus 4 i had forgotten about, it to is high up on my list.

I must agree the HTC one does look damn good!
:)

iPhone 4 isn't slow, it's an awesome phone.

I've got a Sony Xperia Z, awesome and if you can stretch to £30-35pm get it. I just had its pictures on my PS3, since the phone acts as media server and the quality of the images I took on a 47" TV is awesome. My brother in law has a HTC One and the quality of them pics is shockingly awful on anything but his phone screen.

^^^ HTC one has a 4mega pixel camera.. Not very good.. I for one never take pictures so it does not matter for me.

Ultra pixels though, you might want to look that up. The photos aren't top notch, but not bad either. I'd say average for a high-end smartphone.

Megapixels aren't everything mate. The actual sensor is much more important. You might want to look up some comparisons.

everyone saying s3/s4/htc one... don't forget the £15 a month contract, to get any of those devices on that tariff cost would require at least £100 up front towards the phone,

S3/S4 mini?

s4 mini is still bloody expensive,(for a cut down 'mini' phone, even with a 4.2 inch screen) cheapest contract i found was nearer to the £30 a month...
the s3 mini is closer to budget, assuming the deals are available on a network antony wants to use.
