What is the Feser One freezing temperature?

As above really.

I will be having some dry ice for Halloween (really just an excuse) and I would like to try to assist my WC rig for a good bench. I can place it on my top mounted rad for a flat surface and it will cool the Feser flowing through it but it will freeze? I dont want to stick a block on it and the whole system jam up because the rad has gone solid.

Feser base can do -50*C but that is the base without any colour. Dry ice should cool reasonably well given its not direct contact and it should go very low but i'd like to know just in case.

If no-one knows I'll stick some spare Feser in an egg cup and put it on the dryice to see.

I would highly suspect it will freeze. Your looking around -70/80 for dry ice.

Make a pot and do it properly :D.

-5C thats crap considering the Feser Base is -50C WTF do they put in it to ruin the freezing point. Ah well thats that ****ed then.

:(

ya, well if u still wanna go extreme for the bench drain out the feser and mix 50% rubbing alcohol with 50% distilled water and you should be good to go (although id test it to be safe).

also remember that if condensation forms and drips u will kill ur rig so make sure that the dew point isnt too high, condensation can form on the hose and the metal parts of the blocks.

the best way to use dry ice is to drop small peices into ur res( by small i mean nothing bigger than 2cm cubed) this way the liquid doesnt get too cold and u run a lesser risk of condensation. remember though to monitor the liquid temp.

It wont fry my rig it's completely acrylic coated :D

Too much hassle to drain it for a few minutes of OCing :(

Thx for the heads up though

i dont understand how its completely coated but i'll take ur word for it

as for too much hassale some ppl might tell u ur wrong (but since im not one of them ur in luck lol) i guess the question is if ur gonna have the dry ice anyway why not try to set a record, even if its just a personal.:)

anyway glad i could help

Covered all the slots with masking tape very carefully and sprayed front and back making sure i did the obligatory "loads" around the CPU socket. I had a whole can and only used a tiny bit so went all out (I'd masked to be careful anyway).

Draining a WC setup that hold 1.25litres filling with "one shot" coolant and then replacing is WAY too much hassle. My rig has a proper drain valve for ease but I aint spending 3-4 hours getting it all out and in again (every 6 months is bad enough).

Got a few mobos that might take the beating for a laugh but it will be uber ghetto if done. Masking tape and hope mostly. I'm also making a dry ice foam cannon for trick or treaters :D

wow ya 3-4 just to drain is a long time. oh well, if u want something that lasts longer check out fluid xp, its good for 5 years (though they say u can change it at 4 depending on ur parts) and it works good for me.

3-4 to drain and refill it. Given radiator placements are great for cooling but retain coolant well too :(

6 month changing isn't based on Feser its based on the metal deposition that occurs in every WC setup. Drain, whip out, clean, bung in and refill.
