What fans?

Hi guys!

I need four silent and good performing (much airflow) 120mm fans (two in the front as intake and two in the top as outtake).

Which ones of these fans should I get?

Noctua NF-S12B FLX or Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilentPRO PL-2 or Noiseblocker NB-Multiframe M12-S2.

Then I also need two 92mm fans (in the rear as outtake). Of course they also have to be silent and good perfoming (much airflow).

Should I either get two Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilentPRO PE-1 or two Noctua NF-B9?

Finally, I need four 120mm fans for a 480-quadro-radiator (Thermochill TA120.4) that have high static pressure and that are also not that loud.

I found the SilverStone Air Penetrator AP121 and the Noctua NF-P12.

Which ones should I get here?

So could you help me deciding in these three situations between the fans I mentioned above? Please only tell me if you have experiences with those fans.

I would go with noctua, but Silverstone Air Penetrator's are very good intake fans

IMO go full noctua, and buy the air penetrators for the rad and as intake

I seriously dont know why everybody has such a hard-on for Air Penetrators there only 34cfm at 24Db hell my sickle flows are 65CFM at 19Db more air and quieter. Me thinks most of ya got taken by thier you tube vid showing how they colum the air better and didnt bother looking at the rest of the facts. SO as far as an intake fan goes it dont matter if its columned or spread out (I think spread out being better) what ya want is FLOW

For rad ,high pressure and high airflow is needed......1.3> h2o and 45+ cfm.

Akasa apache, scythe gentle typhoons, noctua nf-p12.These are good for chilling a rad.A good fancontroller would also be handy.

There are manny good fans out there, but i like akasa apache, they have it all, at 1350 rpm.

Ok, I also think that Noctua fans are the best. They have the highest cfm and are all under 20db. Also, it seems like they are very good quality, so the price

For radiator the Noctua NF-P12 should also be good, it has ~1.7 mmH2O. And for the case the Noctua NF-S12B FLX and Noctua NF-B9. They have other blades because they are just optimized for airflow (and silence) not for static pressure.

And I also think that most of the people are impressed by the YouTube video of the Air Penetrators. But when mounted on a radiator the air can only go in one way: through the radiator. The Air Penetrators are also louder and have higher noise level (db). Also they have just the same static pressure as the Noctua NF-P12 (~1.7 mmH2O). But I would like to see such a video of the Noctuas, too.

Anyway, at the moment it seems like I'm going to get full Noctua cooling.

BTW: All fans will be controlled by a mCubed T-Balancer bigNG. And my case is the SilverStone Temjin TJ07.

Noctua fans, a safe bet

,expensive, but as you said, quality comes with a price.

Would like to see some pics, when installed.

No problem, I can take pictures and post them here. But it can take a while because a full watercooling system + full Noctua fans are expensive (700 Euro). First I will just get the fans and the fan controller and then I will upgrade to watercooling.

maybe you saw something differetn on ur research but heres a comparision of the NF-P12 versus the sickle flows I was talking about

Sickle flows 69cfm at 19db

NF-P12 54.36cfm at 19db

plus with the sickles you can get leds lol or not available in green blue red and non led

hay sin whats up bud . orderd a couple sickle flow 120 red led for the rof of my 932 advanced how good are they look good on paper the reason wht i got hem what do u think .

Noctuas all the way, they have good airflow. And yeah, those Siverstone Air Penetrators look good, but do you actually need chanelled air for an intake? Unless you had an intake blowing directly towards the CPU cooler....

I have 5 of them in my case (since I borked my noctua's on my D-14) I love them nice and quiet and push air like mad

Noiseblock Multiframes 120mm are really nice and quiet. They also have a really high quality braided cable, which looks really nice imho.

Yeah noiseblockers are really good, really difficult to find though, I was thinking of having them if I could have found them :S
