What Engraver should I get?

So I'm not really sure what I should be looking for in an engraver. My dad has tasked me with this because he thinks that I'll understand all of the technical specs of the machines but I really don't. I was hoping the great people of the forum would be able to help me find the right one for him.

He need the engraver to engrave (well duh...) the name of his company onto some aluminium plates. It needs to have a bed that is around 500x300mm. He's looking to spend around £600 but no more than £750 and he's looking at used units so I'd imagine if it was new that would be a bonus but is definitely not required.

He really just wants the engraver to do one job which is to engrave a name in aluminium quickly. If anyone can put me on the right tracks or tell me what I'm looking for I would be really grateful.

Thanks guys! :D

Damn! £600 - £750.. Our Roland MPX-80 was the best part of £800 new and that only has a maximum engrave (printable) area of 80 x 80mm.. Engravers are sick expensive, not to mention the replacement heads are like £250 - £300 each.. Feebay is probably going to be your best bet to get a good sized machine but the price is going to be serious high.

He's been looking at these and I was wondering if you could tell me if they would be the right thing to be looking at?
