I've just setup the Waterchill VGA block, and I can get my XT to 490/418 - I'm not 100% what the limitations are, but this just starts to produce artifacts in 3dmark.
Any ideas?

I have got mine 510/434 using the Waterchill VGA block. I think I may have used some ice in that as well and a 19l water container..![]()

I couldnt get my core above 415 without serious artifects. and it wudt play farcry at this, i had to put it back to arround 390-400, my memory seemed good tho, that went to about 380, i only used 415/375 for aqumark scores, i played games with it at about 390/360

name='aXeR' said:hmmm i would be inclined to go for water cooling mate, tho the silencer is still quite good, id also get some ramsinks for the memory chips (if u aint already) as for the volt mod im unsure, lots of cards overclock really nicely without it, seems u and me both got stuck with the earlier revision of the 9800Pro?

i got my raddy 9800pro when they came out by sending back my crucial 9700pro and asking for the 9800pro and paying for the difference.
i am sure its a bad clocker cos its one of the early ones as you said.
i do have coolermaster copper sinks as well stuck on my bga ram but afaik ramsinks on bga ram do nothing at all...
