What do you all think about this new case

I like the look of this case, but cannot seem to find much info about it.

Did find a video where it show's a 360mm rad in the roof with push/pull, but no mention of the depth of the rad whether it is 35mm/45mm or 60mm rad it also will support a 480mm rad in the roof compartment.

It can also fit by the look's of it a 240mm or 280mm rad in the bottom, and from the video posted above possibly a 360mm rad if you use a short PSU.

Would love to see a TTL review of it though as I suspect if this becomes available here in the UK it, could dependant on price stop people buying the NZXT Switch 810 and Xigmatek Elysium for watercooling build's.

Well, curiosity got the best of me, and I just pulled the trigger on a black one, I was going to get a Thor V2 on sale, but they sold out before I could grab one. Finally saw a review at Newegg, it may be a 5 egger, the guy seemed impressed, but we all know how subjective those can be.

Well, here's hoping I got a case I won't out grow. I tend to go for less flashy cases like the Enermax Fulmo GT/Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra, but w/o all the LED lights, but I kinda like the looks of this AZZA case for some reason. I think it looks bold w/o looking too bold. I also like that, it has more than 3 5.25" bays. Why do so many big cases have lots of internal, but few external bays?

I'm curious to see what kind of room is in the base since it's full size and has vents in the sides. Maybe there's enough room for a 2nd set of fans for a bottom rad for push pull.

I'll have to give my impression once I've had a chance to look it over.

I still would still like to see a TTL review full of ideas in the future.

I like the style but if it's anything like Azza it will be cheap junk, or expensive junk. What I am getting at is Azza is junk.

I kinda like the 'Tron' style. Would look better with either a full window or no window/fan grill, though.

That case with full clear window + UV Gelid Wings would look pretty cool.

I think the case looks fugly... I really don't like it at all, especially those blue bits... makes it look cheap and aimed at kids.

I was looking to see if there was any new info out and found Newegg now has a video review of the white case http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQojz6rGJT8&feature=related . It's more informative than anything else I've found so far.

UPS shows my case scanned in town this afternoon, sadly that means I won't see it until Monday. :cussing:
Using the front PSU mount should prove interesting since I have an original style PCP&P Silencer 750 Quad with the 80mm exhaust fan, which will be exhausting out of the front in this case.

Oh well, I'm still busy trying to get Win7 setup right on my new 256GB Vertex 4. I don't know if it's because I've got SP1 installed this time, but I'm having trouble getting the WinMail hack to work properly, the send link/page menus are grayed out in most of my browsers, which really sucks.

@PR3D4T0r You mean the support inside the case? It's an adjustable GPU support. I think making it adjustable is a nice touch since GPU cards vary in thickness and I don't think I've ever seen an adjustable card support.

@ KING OF SAND I've heard that about AZZA cases, I'm just hoping that they've upped their game on this one. Giving half of their net profits to charity is nice, but they shouldn't cut corners to make up for it.

Anyone else think that the bottom fan ducts may be a way to copy Silverstone Air Penetrators w/o patent infringement?

I am a bit concerned about how flipping the mobo will affect GPU cooling since the GPU fans will be facing the top exhaust fans. I hope the GPUs don't end up fighting the exhaust fans for air. I don't see this affecting WC'd GPUs, but maybe flip the top fans for positive pressure if they're not WC'd?

I see a lot of nice ideas in this case, but also how some of those ideas could actually work against it. I also see a few places they may have dropped the ball, like the LED switch turning off the bottom fans, but if that's a "bedtime lights out & quiet" idea, then it might not be as much of a problem as the system most likely won't be working hard then. Here's hoping things are implemented well enough to overcome the possible pitfalls. That, and that I'll be happy with this case and it won't be a love/hate kind of thing.

I am really liking this case and I am seriously considering if they become available in the UK of swapping out my Cosmos II for 1 of these, and it's simply because of the radiator support in this case look's like it might be better than what the Cosmos II support's.

Ok, got my case, it's a bit of a mixed bag, though but not a bad case. I'll list some of my observations, not really a review per se.

First off it's pretty massive in size & weight (36 lbs). It's not as cheaply made as I was afraid it might be, the build quality isn't bad, but there's room for improvement.
The side panels are swing & pull, so no slots & tabs to line up. The non-windowed panel has some twist/flex to it, whle the windowed panel is pretty rigid. If you flip the mobo tray then you swap the doors as well. Once the panels are removed, the case becomes a fair bit lighter.
Almost all thumb screws, but they're painted, so they'll be hard to turn by hand for awhile, thankfully they're also philips heads.
The top and front are plastic, and it's not textured or soft touch, but it doesn't feel like cheap brittle plastic. After removing any thumb screws, the top & front snap on & off easily, so it doesn't feel like they might break from the pressure, most panels have thumbscrews anyway. The vents on top are fixed, so they don't open/close like on the Rosewill Thor V2. There's 9cm from the top of my inverted ATX mobo to the top of the case. It looks better than in person than in pics.
Just about everything in the top panel is plug-in headers. You can disconnect the LEDs or fans from the FAN/LED switch if you want.
You need a screw driver to remove the plastic base, and there you'll find 35mm of usable vertical space (above structural ridges), so if you ditch the filters you can add a 2nd set of fans to a bottom rad. The tunnel has an opening at both ends, but the front PSU cover design cover the front, though it's not actually blocked from the front screen. There are also vent slits in the sides of the base. There are rubber pads on the base, but it slides easily enough on my hardwood floor.
The newegg video is wrong about the FAN/LED button turning off the bottom fans, when turning off the LEDs it actually lowers the speed of the top and bottom fans, making the case virtually silent. I'd call it a night or sleep mode. The bottom fans on high are audible over everything else.
The paint could be a bit more durable, but the finish looked even.
The bay faceplates have foam filters inside.
The optional fan spots in the non-windowed panel don't have filters.

The 5.25" tooless bays could work better, they're just 2 pins that go into an upper & lower screw hole in the drive on one side. My optical drive is pretty secure, but my X-Fi bay moves a bit more than I'd like. The HDD trays fit snuggly though.
It was a stretch for my 24 pin mobo cable to reach, I had to stretch it across the front under the CPU cooler, so an extension is a good idea.
My PSU isn't modular, so it made for a lot of extra mess behid the mobo tray, so I had to bow the panel to close it, but it doesn't show. If it had been modular there'd have been plenty of space. Sorting out the inverted mobo front panel header messed with my head.
Inside they really should have added more wiring grommets and braided the inside wiring.
There are more screw holes so the hot swap bay backplates can be moved or (3) more added. The drives have plenty of space between them, probably why there aren't twice as many.
There are 4 GPU braces included.
The manual's actually fairly thorough with exploded views for the parts and assembly instructions, and it's not written in Chinglish. It also shows a guide for the screw selection, and options like a duct for the optional side 230mm fan.

The screen on one of my bottom filters wasn't fully fastened, they're sending a replacement. Funny thing is that the phone was answered by the guy in the youtube video.
I think the HDD activity connector was wired backwards because I had to flip it for it to work. There were a few metal strands where the metal was cut, one of which touched the blades of a botom fan making it sound like a bad fan, even so, I coundn't find any exposed sharp edges to cut myself on.
When I attached the 5.25" bay adapters to my 3.5" SSD adapter it was ~ .25" too wide for the 5/25" bays. The manual shows them being installed in the lowest bays which is where the PSU goes if front mounted, so if you rear mount it you lose a fan, but gain a couple bays or so (can't remember how many).

That's what I can recall offhand or had jotted down. Not really a bad case, but I do think the price should be a bit less due to some shortcomings.

Cheer's for the information.

Still trying to find a case to replace my Cosmos II with when I have the funds available.

Would love to see some pic's of your rig once it's built up though.

They're not pretty, I'm working with crappy lighting & a cell cam.

I just threw my 775 rig in there because it was suffocating in it's ancient case (not the case next to it).
I really grabbed this case for when Intel Haswell and Nvida Kepler GK110 are released. A bit early, but I figured that while I had some extra cash it was a good time rather than have to come up with it all at once.

For now I'll mostly just throw up some (hopefully useful) bits that aren't really covered in the videos or on the site, mainly because they happen to be the clearest of all the pics I took.

Back of drive trays, lots of space between. There are 7 bays that have have tapped holes for backplanes counting up from that bar, 2 of them have backplanes installed:

I have to figure out a better way to light that part of the room and retake the other pics because they're just too dark for any detail.

Really am thinking of just grabbing one of these when they are available in the UK just to see what it's like.

It will take me about 2 to 3 week's to fully test it due to work, but after that I would have moved the rads around etc to see where they are best placed.

That is unless TTL does a review of it :wavey:

Been busy, haven't had any time for new pics, but just got a reply from AZZA about the bay adapters:

"The 5.25” adapter brackets are not wrong. These are not standard brackets but are made specifically for the bottom 2 slots where the front power supply would otherwise occupy. That’s why the dimples are necessary."

That explains why they don't fit the upper 5.25" bays.

Well I have been looking around and decided on the case I am going to replace the rather poor cosmos II with.

Case

Then will use this rad in the roof

Rad

Then I will use my current XSPC RX360 in the bottom, but only once I have watercooled my GPU.

im sure SIN had one of them you might want to ask him about them because he got rid of it really quickly

Spoke to S_I_N and the reason they got rid of it was because of the Anodized finish so I think I will be ordering one once I have the money for it.
