What difference is there in duel channel?

it may look awful, but it uses less ram n processor power, i go to the thing where it ses ajust for best apearance or adjust for best performance n i prefer performance over apearance......
 
Latency, in its most basic definition, is the wait time that a device goes through before it works again...hence...the lower the latency....the faster the RAM as its not spinning its wheels.
 
...ok, so its the time it takes to work...right?...so my ram is 2-2-2-5, so that means it takes 2-2-2-5 to do anythin...can anyone explain that?
 
No no...its not quite that simple....Each number means something difference (CAS Latency, Cas-Ras Delay, TRAS Precharge, etc....I forget what they all mean). The important thing to remember is that lower is better (i.e. faster).
