What DDR3 to go with Maximus?

Iv got a maximus extreme mobo on the way ( loves it ) and am looking to get new RAM ( only got DDR2 so far) so was wondering, what to get??

I know nothing about RAM, literally nothing, especially when it comes to DDR3.

Iv got a nice budget of around 150 quid to spend sooo......

What to buy? iv got about 3 weeks until i get it.

DDR3 wise I've tended to lean towards OCZ, nice timings and price for the most part.

I assume your looking for 2GB? (No chance of getting 4gb of 1333mhz or above on £150)

Just wait til u actually get the mobo as i have heard that Amazon dont always honor the miss priced items.

OCZ Platinum XTC DDR3 1600MHz 2GB KIT, w/two XTC Platinum 1GB CL7-7-7-20

Comming in at £125 from Komplett, decent timings 1600mhz.

Im sitting in my seat waiting for it. I have got my hopes up on actually getting it so hey. No money has been taken out so far but would be nice if they actually followed it through.

And its a bit obvious im not going to order the new RAM until the mobo arrives then ill be doing some more asking about and checking for some nice deals, (komplett. :worship: )

I would of thought what they will have clauses in their T&C's that allow them to decline the sale of the item to protect them from such events?

They do. Same thing happened with the 8800GTS 640mb when it came out. Marked at £150 when they cost ~£250 at the time and all who ordered got a nice email saying 'sorry but you agreed to us not having to sell you it when you checked the box'
