What case, what mod?

Ok, decided to get a new case, been looking at either the Lian-Li PC-A71B or the Lian Li PC-A77B

Trying to decide which one is better. I have about 350 to spend on case and mods, I am looking for duel loop deffo, possibly triple loop. One triple rad would defiantly be going into the roof either way, not sure about the rest though. What I’m asking is:

1. Which case for duel loop and why

2. Is it possible to triple loop either effectively (Apart from simply a PA120.1 on the rear fan) and how?

3. Which one do you think would look better in bright red externals, black internals, and red highlights?

EDIT: Any other case suggestions around that price range would be good either

erm its gona cost u like £300 for dual loops anywayz lol, not even including a good case to fit it.

okay:

DCC ultras x2 with xspc res top - £150

PA120.3 - £60

pa120.2 - £50

Delta v3 - £35

gpu block - £60

mb chipset and mosfet block - £60

total : £415

not including tube, barbs, clips, coolant

i guess you can cut down a bit with DCC pros instead, and BI stealth rads but i dont think you can do it with £350

i assum dual loops with cool mb, gpu and cpu.

Dual loops is possible, if you want 2x 360 rads then you can only use the a77.

If a dual and a 360 then the A70 is possible.

Tripple loop....? Why? Just get proper rads, more loops = more mess = a cramped looking rig and a nightmare to work on.

I wanted a small loop for the motherboard, just a 10w DCC with a PA120.1

I have all the watercooling stuff already, I just need the case.

Either one of the big Lian Li's like you've already picked out, or maybe a Silverstone TJ07?

Dan

it would be tight but I think you could squeeze it into a a77 dude, one in the roof, on in the front and you might get the 120.1 above that if not in the floor. Will be mega messy and temps no dif to 2 loops though really.

Ok, dicided, how does this sound: A70b, black internals, red highlights externally, triple rad up top, double on HDD fans, one on rear fan. Duel xspc res tops on bottom of the case next to each other. What do you think?

I think youve been copying my ideas :p

Nah mate sounds good but do you really need 3 rads??

I have all the kit and since Im planning to upgrade either to i5 or i7 soon as well as cooling an overclocked chip, one or two high end cards, and a motherboard I dont think it will be massive overkill.

i do lol, get a tj07 + quad rad for gpu's and mobo, & tripple roof rad for cpu + hdd?

Major work needed for the roof for a tripple and theres naff all room above the mobo aswell so you can only use skinny rads, which is kinda pointless.

TJ's aint all that for water imho

Right, so you're saying he is overkill?

Yet you mention watercooling hard drives? Right...

because i knew he wanted to go all out, i knew he wanted to wc cool near enough everything so im trying to supply his needs,

Thanks for your postive input on this thread!!!

I know watercooling HDD's and ram is pointless. CPU, GPU, and the board on the other hand does need good cooling when overclocking and I dont want to have loads of mini fans blowing all over it water seemed the best way.

its up to you dude we aint dissing your wishes :)

you could wana watercool your fans if u wanted to and wede still help out :p
