What 670 to buy ?

Windforce is pretty much the best cooler, Zotac AMP! Edition appears to be the fastest. The Asus DirectCU II en MSI Twin Frozr are a pretty good balance between quiet and cool.

The EVGA FTW is pretty quick, but does run fairly warm and makes a bit of noise due to the reference GTX680 cooler. I like that one cause it blows the air out of the case though, works better with SLI imo :)

One thing that the MSI Twin Frozr 4 cards do is upon boot they reverse the fans for about 10 seconds at high speed to remove dust build up from the card and fan blades. Not a major thing but worth taking into consideration. The MSI 670 PE according to the OC3D review has a huge overhead for OC'ing too.

Thanks for all the replies guys :) I have a reference 570 just now and I personally don't like the noise it makes lol

I use the KFA2 670 and have had no problems at all with it.

It's incredibly quiet - I can lock the fans to 30% all the time (even when gaming) and temps max at around 60, so it's cool, and it looks great.

Otherwise, Gigabyte and the Asus DCII are generally the best choices.

Think I'm going to go for the Windoforce as it is only £35 of a difference compared to the KFA2 :) Thanks for the help guys :)

go with the windforce, awesome cooler and gtx 680 PCB,5 stages VRM etc.and do what with evga?noise and heat?when u want to buy a stock card yeah ,go with evga

I'm going for the Evga FTW, since I game with a good headset and the noise doesn't bother me much, I also much prefer the card blowing the hot air out of the case and the ability to slap an aftermarket cooler on should I later need it.
Gigabyte Windforce 3X is also very good, although the 2X is supposed to be the quietest in idle. Still, my HDD is the noisiest part of my PC, i'm silence freak.
