Welcome to the Windows 7 Beta Customer Preview Program

Good old microsoft gotta be some bugs somewhere lol gotta love microsoft :D

jokes aside windows 7 seems very good & stable....and this is only beta, I like it.

FSX also seems to like windows 7 better seems much smoother.

Windows 7 is very good. I see the taskbar as a good thing, but for some strange reason it reminds me of OSX's dock.

The other thing is that it's stupid that they removed Windows Mail - I actually used that frequently on Vista

microsoft would like everyone to use the windows live essentials instead:

http://download.live.com/wlmail

only real complaint i have at the moment is that the windows explorer folders don't automatically expand in the left side if double clicked on in the right

Got it DLing now, you need to burn it to a disk correct? It is an .ISO?

3.15Gb... be here a while :(

Plenty of time to figure out if I can remember how to burn .ISO's.. I remember I failed miserably last time I had MSDN Vista 64 and took about 4 disks before I used the right Nero program XD

I used cdburnerxp simple and free :D you will of course need a dvd rom disc not a standard disc!!!

on cd burner its easy just click burn iso select file and burn simple.

now have windows 7 beta 32bit on my lappy all is good :D

I'm guessing by a dvd rom disc you mean either a dvd-r or dvd+r disc :p

Well I think this thing is a DVD burner, my old one wasn;t so I stole this one from my media PC :D I will use CDBurnerXP, seems to have good praise, cheers all.

22%!

Better start rebuilding this old P4 machine, as I will try to play with Windows 7 on this, will a P4 3Ghz, 2Gb PC3200 RAM be ample? I know Vista was a system whore, so will this do it? Or will it be like running XP on my 400Mhz Pentium II... painful. When opening a web page, music actually slows down

normal, however it was an upgrade and not a full install, maybe that has caused it(but the sidebar worked fine in vista)
