Weird wireless keyboard/mouse issues

I have changed the batteries and reinstalled the drivers and checked for conflicts. Was working fine...

System is 100% stable - cpu, ram and gfx all tested separately and together.

The keyboard occasionally 'sticks' or delays. 104 firefoxes randomly opened with one double click - the mouse sometimes doesn't move/lags...

Ideas?

Oh, when i type it misses letters etc...

Are they in a USB hub or straight into the back of the machine?

I hope theyre straight into the back, as you might get power issues if your drawing all your devices through a single hub.

Other thing i can think of atm is check the 'USB speed' or simmliar settings in the bios. play with them and make sure theyre sound. And maybe a chipset driver re-install?
