Weird Buzzing Sound

One of my WD hard disks is making a weird buzzing sound every now and then... should I get it RMAed as soon as possible?

If it sounds out of the realm of normality then yes, I would backup the data ASAP and send her off for replacement.

Have you tried running a SMART scan to see what the status of the drive is?

I think I will get an Advance Replacement from WD for this one because I have no where to put the data, lol!

SMART scan says the drive is fine, but every now and then I get a noise as if there is a wasp in my case

Are you 100% positive that the sound is coming from a hard drive, as in you have pulled the hard drive from the case and isolated to where you can monitor only the sound coming form the suspected drive?

Get something like HD Tune and examine it a bit.
