Webpage Unavailable Problems

Recently, I've been having issues connecting to the following two sites: www.plugpayplay.com and www.planetminecraft.com. Whenever I try to load them in Chrome, it just comes up with "Google Chrome could not find this address", or "Webpage Unavailable" with Error 101 or 103.

I asked some of my friends to access these pages and they can get onto them fine, however I cannot. I've tried using Firefox and Internet Explorer, still no luck. Cleared my cache, cookies etc and ran a full virus/malware scan, adding exceptions for Chrome in my firewall, resetting the router and still no luck. I've tried connecting to them on my iPad and my other computer and it still can't connect, which has led me to thinking it's my router (I'm with BT), as I can access them through a proxy.

Although to be honest I still don't understand why it's just blocking these two sites - I can access any other site perfectly fine, and it only started happening two days ago.

Does anyone have any other ideas of why it's just blocking these two sites or what's causing it? I'm completely baffled, and don't particularly want to keep having to connect to a proxy to access them every time. :(

Unfortunately I don't have access to the router settings so I can't go prodding around in there to see if I can find anything.

Do you get a response when you ping the servers?

I've tried them both quickly, and trying to reach planetminecraft I get:
Code:
Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): Unable to resolve the server's DNS address
when trying to open in chrome, and no response when trying to ping it.

However, the other one works fine for me (I can open it and get a response to pings).

Can you (temporarily) bypass the router to see if you can reach the website when being directly plugged in to the internet?

Only do this very, very temporarily, though (I'm presuming your router is also your firewall)!

Unfortunately my router is a router-modem combo (Netgear N300) so I can't plug myself directly into the modem unfortunately

Well that does make things a bit tricky.

Have you been inadvertently banned? That would also explain why it's still working via a proxy.

Otherwise I suggest contacting your ISP or the server admins of those sites. Maybe they know?
