Just got my new Q6700 in and booted it at what I thought was 4GHz but it turned out just short. Now it wont boot even at that speed .

Will try again tomorrow off a cold boot and when / if the new gfx cards come out next month.. I'll be churning off a whole set of benches then.

Twas well annoying.. When my Q6700 was at 4GHz, I couldn't get SuperPi Mod to work ... Just kept freezing up.

Keep my 8800GT 512mb and oc it

Well we are at 730 in the superpi 1m rankings. If i can push to an 8s range time we should be pushed down to 400. It's just performing all these tweaks and then getting this chip past 5GHz on air.

Well after my build and having the Behemoth back up and running I've only reached 3.7GHz with 1700MHz DDR3. That is 18.3k on 3DM06 but that is mediocre for me so I'm not posting until I crack at least 19.5 or hopefully 20k.

BTW 4GHz on PA120.3 cooling CPU and GPU, means high speed fans and luck (I say that because I got to 3.9 like that with my Q6600 but it just wouldnt go higher without death).

I now have PA120.3 and XSPC360 for cooling and currently max out at 55C so loads of room left Muhahahahahahahahhahahahaha

Looks like my superpi 1m was the most i can get on air. I can't get 50MHz more over 4.7GHz even after raising vcore by .05v. I don't want to go over 1.55v because of the temps. Maybe someone can throw me a watercooling setup for a few hours?
