WD Black² DUAL DRIVE 120GB SSD + 1TB SATA3

Hey, being on the verge of buying a 128GB SSD, I saw this at the shop.
It is a 128GB SSD and a 1TB HHD. I don't need the HDD

Any info on WD Black² DUAL DRIVE 120GB SSD + 1TB SATA3 cost R 2,950 and does the SSD give the same speed as the stand alone SSD and what's the disadvantage of the 2 in 1

The disadvantage of the Black² (€200) is that it's a LOT more expensive than a regular 120GB SSD (€60) and 1Tb HDD (€50).

It's really just for laptops with only one 2.5" HDD slot, or very, very tiny ITX builds.

Oh thank you. I didn't look in that way. And performance wise?

Can't comment on that as I haven't checked any benchmarks but I do suspect that they cut /some/ corners /somewhere/ to achieve having both an SSD and HDD in one 2.5" enclosure.

Edit:
On paper:

Black²
Read: 350MB/s
Write: 140MB/s

Crucial MX100
Read: 550MB/s
Write: 150MB/s

840 Evo
Read: 540MB/s
Write: 410MB/s

I will go with the kingston v300 120GB since I don't need the 1Tb and it is slower than a stand alone SSD

Google must have been broken today!

No comment. I would of liked more info than just a sheet of speed that people do with just os and no programs like av or games on but I didn't want to sound ungrateful by saying that.
I already no it is slower on paper but if someone has use it I would of gotten greater points from the members (TTL is a lot on my case)
