Watercooling NZXT Switch 810

Could you guys help me put together a list of possible watercooling options for the NZXT Switch 810, specifically where and what size Rads can be placed, where the case can be modded (within reason) to allow additional or larger Rads...

I'm putting together,

- a 3770K
- 2x GPUs (SLI/Crossfire)

... I've watched Tom's videos and I've seen lots of really interesting pictures of other peoples builds and mods on the forum, so I've already got my own ideas, but I'm far far far from knowing everything and I don't want to miss a trick and would love to hear from a wider variety of opinions.

At present I'm planning on a single loop running on a single D5 pump.

I'm interested in maximizing cooling potential and therefore overclocking potential.

So I'm interested in working out, how many Rads I'd need, what sizes, and where they'd best be placed.

I'm also interested in what people think about a double loop inside an NZXT 810.

And lastly I'm also interested in maintaining a balance between noise and performance.

a 360 and 240 - both 60mm thick will do the above fine.

SP120 QE fans will keep it quiet too.

Double loop will make it messy and a bit pointless with your config. You dont need to over think it too much tbh. Buy bits that match and look nice, think about aesthetics and plan the loop. You want the least amount of hose possible.

As for what rads and where you wouldnt ask that if youve watched the video, plus you need to do some work yourself we are not paid personal shoppers

Hrm, apologies I was previously given advice that included,

When I built CKC I have a 360 and 2x 240 for roughly the same set up

... and was having trouble working out how best to fit a 360 and two 240s in an 810, I guess I got the wrong end of the stick as to what was being insinuated.

They were skinny rads though mate because its a completely different case......

You 100% didnt mention the Switch before because you wont get 3 rads in that without modding.

Put a 360 in the top and get the 240 lying down at the front bottom beneath the upper HDD cage.

Yep - you can put in say an XSPC RX360 in the roof in Push/Pull and a RX240 in the bottom in Push/Pull as well. Other then pulling some parts out, only modding you may want to do is cutting some of the plate out that is in the 5.25" drive bay, to allow unrestricted airflow.

top rad push pull will need to be measured though. The inner fans MAY collide with the top of your mobo heatsink or 8 pin power (does on mine )

Yes - the 60mm rad with 25mm push fans would make it 85mm (or so), which as per Tom's video may be an issue with some mobo's. Make sure you check this if going for a 60mm rad. I went with a EX360 myself in the top, which is 35mm, so will have no issues with my mobo and the push fans.

All of the above suggestions are correct. You could even through a 120mm/140mm radiator on one of the HDD cages and another on the rear exhaust area if you wanted, this could be done with zero modifications.

Well, perhaps, but, WITHOUT modding, those are the best options. If it were me, of course, I'd just mod the hell out of it.

Id just not bother with 120's tbh. look horrible and add so much extra hose and mess for not a great deal of gains.

Tis true. I'm not debating, I'm just stating the facts. That's what you can do if you're not willing to do a little modding. With a little bit of modding you can do some really great loops. Hell, even without modding a 360 and a 240 are more than most loops actually need.
