hey guyz

what u think of this setup:

Danger Den TDX Water cooling CPU Block

Swiftech MCW50-B Extreme Duty Graphics Card Waterblock

Black Ice Xtreme II Dual 120mm Radiator

Danger Den Single Bay Resevoir

Swiftech MCP655 pump

and some 1/2" ID Flexible tubing

reckon that would be good enuf for an opteron 170 939 on a DFI lanparty board?

A few things I would change... The DD CPU block is a turd, same with the Swifty GPU block. The other parts are top notch.

Reverse your manufacturers for CPU / GPU blocks and you have a winning combo. Check out the Swiftech Storm or Apogee water blocks, both are great performers. As for GPU block go with the Maze4 or NV-68/78 or ATI full cover equivalent.

That setup should definately be sufficient for the listed setup!

ok now its changed to:

resevoir:

Danger Den Single Bay

Radiator:

Black Ice Xtreme II Dual 120mm Radiator

GPU water block

1/2" Acetal Maze4 GPU LP

CPU water block

Swiftech STORM Extreme Performance Universal Waterblock

Pump:

Swiftech MCP655

tubing:

1/2" ID Flexible tubing

btw, would the radiator come with the 12cm fans? or would i have to purchase them myself?

You have to purchase the rad fans seperately. I recommend getting 4 fans and putting them in push/pull configuration. This is going to give you the best cooling power. Check out Panaflo M1A's or some of the high speed Delta's.

CPU Block = Aquaxtreme MP-05

GPU Block = Aquaxtreme MP-01

Pump = Swiftech is fine

Rad = Thermochill PA120.2

Tubing = Ask Fragtek for the part no. for the Mcmaster tubing

Reservoir = DD is fine. Xoxide has the same res for cheaper.
