Water cooling help please

I recently took the plunge and water cooled my pc.
I7 2700k and 2x asus 680's In an 800d.
I put a 360 in the roof, 120 on the side and a 240 in the bottom. Finally after a few weeks everything is in place leak tested. I turned my pc on and started to install windows to my ssd after a while the screen would go black, so I tried again same thing happen.

Then I noticed I've put the loop in wrong.
I have the xspc res/pump combo.

My loop order was res/pump out into 360 into the outlet of the CPU block, the CPU inlet to the 120 into the gpu block, down into the 240 back into the res/pump.

Would this be the cause of the cards overheating??? As the cards where very hot too touch. I have pictures that I could send of my build, it's been one thing after another with this build. I could really use help.

did ya put the thermal pads and tim on the blocks?? you deffo should sort out that inlet outlet issue but unless its severely restricting the flow I doubt its causing the gpu's to over heat. which pump/rez combo?? if its the D5 one you should be fine with all the blocks and rads if its the H2O 750 then that pump is not enough for the blocks and rads.

The res/pump is the brand new from xspc with the d5 it's all black. Yeah I put thermal pads and tim on the blocks using arctic mx-4. I have the cards in slot 1 and 2

about the only thing I can suggest is to take them apart if you truly feel they are overheating. This way you can check for proper seating on the pads. On another note did you pull off both sides of the thermal pads protective film??

The cards might not be blead properly. Put the pump full speed wobble the case then reduce the speed.. repeat.

In fact those blocks are plexi can you seen any large bubbles in them?

Sin it is the D5, you can see the yellow speed cable.

(IF the loop order was the other way round it would be much easier to bleed, because bubbles like to move upwards. However you will need to swap the ports over on the bridge)

Yeah I did pull off both sides on the pads. Are they meant to feel that hot?
It's the only thing I can think off as to why I get the black screen. Do you think I should just redo the Loop and hope it sorts it out??? The mobo manual suggests I put the cards in slots 1-3. Can you buy thermal pads separate ?

I asked my friend. He seemed to think so.
As every time I tried to installed windows the picture just dropped out. And the cards where boiling. The more times I turned it on the quicker the picture would die. But the pc was still on

I think I see the issue and I'm sorry I missed it this morning but was posting as i was getting ready for work. Looks like you might not have full flow thru ur blocks as its going in the rea of the card and going out the rear of the bottom card. try moving your inlet to the front of the top card and leave ur outlet as is. This may aide the bleeding as well. Just a thought might not be the issue but deffo worth a shot since you gotta tear it down anyways to fix the cpu's in and out.

The bridge is a ek-FC bridge dual serial csq ive put the compression fittings where the instructions told me.
Do you mean move the top fitting over to the left?
Sorry if this seems stupid of me its my first time.
Do you think i should re-do the gpu blocks when i trake it apart?

There must be loads of air in the loop they should not be getting hot.

BUT. coolant should go in one side of the card and out the ohter, the inlet and outlet on your gpu's is on the same side. so there is nothing to force the coolant round.

Still they shouldnt get THAT hot. You should have done more research before building this.

Thanks guys ill rebuild the loop and check the graphics cards. I'm thinking i did rush a bit. I'm sure i followed the diagram in the bridge instructions.
hope the cards are ok.
Thank you for your time
