Water Cooling GTX670 Only

Hello everyone. I want to water cool my GTX670 only. I dont want to water cool my CPU because my H80i does just fine. I seen and heard good and bad things about the Arctic Hybrid Liquid Cooler, and decided i dont want to go that route because the mod is permanent. And i also want to get my hands into open loop water cooling for the first time, ive been building computers for over 10 years and yes this will be my first time. So basically what i want to know is what items and name brands do you recommend. Examples i want to know detailed list of , fittings, pumps, rads(preferably 240), res. I already know i want an EK block NON NICKLE because im hearing bad things about the Nickle. I also want to try and keep costs below 300 if possible. I also want to use mayhems aurora coolant. Please give me your input thanx.

It all depends on how much room you have in your case. I would prefer to keep all of the components uniform so if you are going to use an EK block on the GPU use EK throughout. You could do an EK Coolstream rad with an EK ddc x res or an EK-BAY DCP 2.2 Combo Reservoir.

I agree with SEBAR; I think it will look incredibly messy. You could sell your H80 and get a nice loop for 300. What case do you have? A 360 (60mm thick) will suffice for a CPU and GPU

Plenty of room in there for everything you need. The CPU block is one of the least expensive components. You might a well save yourself some money in the long run and get the 360 rad and add a cpu block.

i lolled a considerable amount there. bud you really would be better off just laying down an extra 50 dollar on a nice cpu block if you were gonna fork out for the pump rad res fittings for gpu only.

Alright alright you talked me into it, not because its only 50$ for a block, but because id rather save myself from VLOG dedicated to my embarrassment!

get yourself a nice xspc kit... you wont be disappointed

Thats what i planned on getting and adding the xspc VGA Block with a few more fittings. Im going to purchase everything after christmas is over. Im hoping i can rely on you guys for installation tips when im ready.

Well I'll be the odd one out and say that having a GPU loop only isn't a terrible idea. GPUs benefit from liquid cooling a lot more than CPUs do, and if you already have an H80 I'd start with a GPU loop and add the CPU in later.
