Theres a review that we are currently working on here at OC3D that we are thinking of putting a slight twist into and asking you guys to get envolved.

We have the new CM Mouse and Mouse mats in for review, thing is we have 5 or 6 different mouse mats. The reviewer will as usual be writing their thoughts on the mats but seeing as Jim is on holiday and Ive got the keys to OC3D I thought Id break the rules.

Theres a chance for at least 6 of you to get a mat but in exchange I would require a mini review about how you guys found using it in game/photoshop ect ect within 7days.

If you are interested post here with, what mouse and mat you have now, and how you would be testing it game/photoshop ect.

Then if there is enough interest, with some reasonable ideas, and you can string a centance together Ill get you one in the post asap.

This is just an interest gathering thread for now but Id be sending this week and wanting all mini reviews in by next weekend if we do this.

Can you? :p

Also, am I allowed, if so then I'm in :)

Logitech G9 and a Gigabyte GK-7PB mouse on a Everglide Titan Minimat. Can do whatever test you need, got loads of games and photoshop.

EDIT: Shove me to the back of the queue if there is alot of interest.

Wondering about return postage cost.

I really don't want to be charged for anything (cheap me. :D). :p

I currently am using a generic mouse with no mouse mat and I have photoshop+games installed on my PC.

I feel I may be a good candidate to do this review as I will be able to show the impact of a having mouse mat rather than not having one and how well a mouse mat will help people with a generic/standard mouse (though this may be irrelevant as most people on this website do not have a generic mouse :p).

Oh and I can borrow my school's DSLR for some cool piccies.

So... are you feeling the urge to send me one yet? :p

Or do you need more reasons?

Guess I could do one too, although you'd have to figure out shipping time and rates to the NL.

Acces to DSLR, currently using a lot of autocad and playing some cod4, current mousemat ultimat x2 and I'm sure I can free up some time to review it properly.

Pics would be good but not essential tbh, writing style would be the best thing. Return post not needed, who ever gets the mats gets to keep them aslong as they meet the dead line with a satisfactory mini review.

w00t!

Just saved myself some money.

If things work out of course. :p

One week should be enough for a mini-review.

i only have a mouse pad built in to my dinovo edge keyboard want a mamba! but need the funds i could always test how well my dinovo edge rests on it as i use my mousepad :p lol

i got brand new in the tube razer mantis w8n for a mamba to scroll itself all over! but will have to w8! :(

MS Laser Mouse 5000 (nice and average)

Currently using... my desk! (yes, no mousemat here sir).

Would be definitely interested in a review and I "fink me be litarat nuff 4 it". Can do pics, words etc. Would probably test mainly in PS, but can also do almost any genre that involves using a rodent.

VB

Edit - oooh 666 posts

I've got a logitech MX510, been using my desk since i cracked icemat #2 years ago....

Putting my name down- think I've got the english skills :) got a semi-decent camera and can test in CS:S, browsing and PS on a dual screen setup...

What you need is a mouse already to use on the mat, and some software ect to test what you think about the mouse mat. Im not 100% about comparisons with a bare desk, so I think we would have to work out a basic plan for you to follow.

right heres how it goes at the moment.

1: Von Blade

2: Peter Stoba

3: MeltedDuron

4: I Hunta x

5: Zak4994

6: f0x.

Sell yourselves to me peeps, a decent picture of your set up will be required for use in the article obviously with the mat in shot/being used but most importantly is a reasonable article that is easily read with your thoughts and views on the mat. We might even make this an article of its own yet!

So 3 left and I have to make some choices by this evening (8th)
