I would just like to point out that everyone is thinking of a solar year being 224 days. A DAY on Venus however is slightly longer than on Earth at 1.9 solar days. So the winner will be announced in about 14 Earth days.

Wrong
Venus has a really slow retrograde rotation and its day is 243 earth days long. Its orbital period is 224 (earth) days so yes, a day on Venus is longer than a year.
I don't know where you read those numbers...
1 Venus day=116days, 18h 0m in Earth calculations. So no, a a day on Venus is not longer than an Earth Year. Only thing Venus does faster is that it rotates the sun every 224 days versus our 364/365 days. Simple google search![]()
