VoraciousGorak!!

*PPD creeps closer....*

My roomie keeping turning off his pc!!

When I let him have my 8800GT the deal was that when he wasn't using the PC it was to run F@H.

Gah.

You can catch up a bit now. My A/C is temporarily out of order (in this sweltering Florida heat) and I didn't like seeing my CPUs at 70C while folding... so until the house cools down again, which might be as soon as tonight, you can try to re-take the lead.

I'll just test this i5-750 that just came in the mail while my other PCs are offline

EDIT: LOL, my 2500K is IDLING at 48C in this heat....

Okay, I got the A/C working, and a repair guy will come out to have a look, but with the house cooling down I'll probably turn everything back on tonight. Enjoy your 6 hour reprieve as my digital dogs nip at your heels!

I'm going to have to stop my folding for the time being. It's getting really muggy here and even the basement is starting to get warm. So until sometime later this week (when I buy an window a/c) I will not be folding.

Yeah, I'm supremely part time right now with my main PC down. My GTX275/i5-750 combo is my main computer now that my 2500K is temporarily dead, and I'm shutting everything down at night and gaming during the day. My farm is probably 1/3 what it was a week ago

My wife's new GTX460 can Fold even while she's playing games, so while that's not gonna be on 24/7 it'll still be contributing a lot more than the old 9800GT (that had to shut off Folding while in WoW!)

Brings the PPD from 10k down to about 2500 on the GTX460, and from 3k down to ~400 on the Q9300 processor in the box. Everything's at stock. The machine is on a lot without running games though, but it's not 24/7.

That's funny, since I started using this name about the same time that season of South Park aired. However, I never watched South Park until about three years ago. Weird.

Maybe one of my friends said something and I subconsciously dredged it up when I needed an online tag?
