Vista ultimate update problems

I keep trying to install the update "Nsku Media Restore Pack for Vista x86 (KB925749)" but it always fails. It may be down to me slipstreaming WMP off (managed to get it back on with a complex process though thanks to peeves) yet it still wants me to update this and always fails. Is there a way to restore vista installation inc WMP or anything like that?

Not sure about with Vista, but with XP u could install MP by downloading it off the m$ site.

Pretty sure u`d be able to do it for Vi5ta.

I have managed to get MP but a harder way as downloading it just wouldnt work....

It just keeps asking to download this update and id rather just let it download and install than ignore it to prevent potential problems later on liiiike
