Vista 64 Home Premium or Ultimate

As I'm buying a lil hardware I'm trying to decide whether to buy a 64 bit version of Vista to go with my new 4gb Flex II kit.

I'm running Vista 32 Home Premium at the mo, but it's an upgrade disc to my XP Media Centre which makes it a pain in the arse.

Question is whether to go for 64 bit Home Premium at £63 or 64 bit Ultimate for £110.

Only difference that would be cool is that Ultimate has the Image back up facility built in which is meant to be pretty good. Is that worth the extra 50 odd quid though??

Also I use Acronis for my image back up at the mo so it's not desperate I have the Vista one. Even though it would be nice to have it integrated.

Just wanna know what everyone else thinks really?

i think, dont bother wasting your money, and go with stability, go with XP

Mate... Don't mean to be rude but that wasn't in the options so I want to keep it between what I mentioned.

I don't want a debate about XP vs Vista as XP isn't even an option for me. I've been using Vista since it came out and have found it to be nothing but stable for me.

from what I know of the differences between the two i would save some money and get the home premium.Having used ultimate(only 32 bit though) I personally dont see that it justifes the extra cost for a few little extras that you dont really need/use

Agree, but I also agree with ionicle... :o

Nah, go with Premium.. you will be fine.

Ultimate Vista OEM isn't that expensive above home premium iirc. I use the networking and media features a lot and some of the other extra's are cool if not a little useless :p

Well the prices I gave above were for the OEM versions on Ebuyer as that's where I'm buying my mobo and cpu.

I probably wouldn't use any of the other extras over Premium apart from the back-up facility.
