Videos aren’t removing from My Subscriptions

Earlier i was on YouTube cleaning up my Subscriptions videos and i have noticed that some of the videos aren't completely removing themselves from my Subscriptions list it's only happening with Two Channels....Oh yeah and the two channels are apart of the same group of channels.

I don't think i'm not only person who this is happening too....So is the problem with my YouTube or is it the Channels with the videos that aren't removing themselves.....I'm guessing the only way i can fix it is bye unsubscribing.

I was doing some Google searches earlier and people were saying that Google release an update for YouTube that has screwed things up for some people.

Yeah Goggle is always doing something to YouTube, If YouTube is working good and people are happy there is no reason to change things.

As i have said it's only 2 channels where the videos aren't getting hidden all of my other Sub videos are fine and that's the most annoying thing about it.

You would think it all would be playing up and none of them would be getting hidden.

Hopefully you understand what i'm saying.

Are you talking about when you unsubscribe but the channel's videos still remain in your sub box? If so, I don't think I've ever seen them disappear instantly, eventually they do though.

No....What i'm trying to say is for some of the Channels i'm Sub too i don't watch every single video they upload it's mainly gaming videos that the issue is with.

What is happening is when i'm hiding the videos that i don't want in my Feed so i remove the ones that i don't want to watch once i have done that i wait for about 10 seconds or so once i hit the refresh button or F5 they will just keep showing up.

I'm very OCD when it comes to my Feed for YouTube i only want the videos i have watched in there but i'm guessing that isn't the right way to do it, I think some people would just remove them and keep the video in the "Watch History".

But i'm different ^_^

I didn't even know you could hide videos. I've probably seen the feature in the past and thought, there's no chance that works properly and ignored it. :lol:

Yes you can hide Videos i have been doing it for years, If you go over you will see a triangle facing down and three dots if you click on it it will give you an option to hide the video.



That one channel is the one i'm having the issue with apart from the other one.

I tried it a fair bit and seems to work fine for me, sometimes having to hide a video more than once for it to stick though. Also there's no wonder you're able to hide videos like that, you can see all of your subs on the same page. I have too many to manage

That's why i don't Sub too to many people.

I have hide them like 15-20 times but for some unknown reason they will not hide, I'm out of ideas like i said it's only happening with two channels everyone else who i'm sub to is fine.

Try clearing chrome cache? (complete random guess)

I have done all of that even uninstalling and reinstalling it's got to be an issue with there channels.

OP, what mail did you used to subscribe? I use a gmail and from 69 subscriptions I don't remember getting more then 3 mail per month.
As for browser i use Mozilla and I.E

For a start it doesn't matter what browser i use i have read on the YouTube forums what it is that YouTube came out with something newer like API or something.

This is what the person from the YouTube forums told me.

"If the videos have been in the list for a while, it's YouTube. They broke it a while back and apparently have no intention of fixing it."

To answer your question about the email i used my gmail account but now i have changed it to a different one, I don't think the email as anything to do with it.

As i have said it not happening to all of my Sub's it's only happening to two of them which is BS cause you would think it would be happening to all of them not random channels. Google does seem to find away to break things.
