Awesome!!! Good to see VIA hitting the market w/ a C2D chipset, surprised they didnt release this sooner TBH. Should be a great inexpensive chipset, wonder how well it will clock.

They were the first to release a Core 2 Duo compatible chipset.

This is one with PCI-Express 2.0 and 1,333MHz FSB support. :o

I'm pretty sure Intel was the first?

And PCI-E 2.0 FTW.
 
Via may not be the best overclockers ever but tbh their chips are rock solid and their divers ant too shabby either.

For the non-overclocker itll be a good chipset.

All of VIA's chipsets have a weird long name, can't remember the specific one.

Anyway it doesn't matter, the important thing is it's an old chipset.
