Yay, progress!

Yes had lack of motivation lately. All good now though
I wont be able to do much more as xmas is coming up, so i'll probably manage to finnish the front next year.

Ok, so I lied...
If i'm lucky, i'll be 90% done with the front if the acryllic sheet arrives next week.
The sandwich part will be without any acryllic in between the alu panels as I want the sheet covering the gaping hole between the case itself and the front panel.

I was not able to do all the things I planned because of some nooby mistakes and faulty tools...

Atleast I could make the HDD cage and figure out most of the things that needs to be done, also the blanking plate is mostly cut to fit but not mounted.

Alot of cutting needs to be done.

Almost perfect fit.

What I'll most likely do too make this a perm fit is to get some 90 angle plates and just rivet it on.

8cm wide to cover all the holes and inperfections, keep in mind I got this aluminium for free.
